    Thomas Reichman made this fascinating big screen vérité documentary on Charles Mingus in 1966.  It was filmed during a particularly unsettled time in Mingus’s life and record archive his eviction from the Sloppy East Side loft at 22 Great Jones Street where soil had intended to open unadorned music school.
