Asadullāh (Arabic: أَسَدُ ٱلله), also written Asadollah, Assadullah or Asad Ullah, is a male Muslim given name meaning Lion of Allah.
The name was initially used to refer to the Islamic ProphetMuhammad's closest kinsmen, Hamza ibn Abd al-Muttalib and Ali ibn abu Talib.
